Random Challenge:

What is your creative process? How do you scrapbook? Do you plan layouts, papers etc in advance?? Or do you scrapbook on the fly? Whatever moves you at the time?
HOW DO YOU CREATE? What's your CREATIVE PROCESS?

How do you create all that you create?

from BonnieRose

Typically what sparks my creativity is the spur of the moment. I have to be in a moment. I can not just sit down and scrapbook like some people can. Usually I can sit down and do a layout a day even during my stretches. If I am really tired, stressed or got alot going on - I have no creativity. My mind is multi-tasking all the time. I swear - when I Am sleeping my mind is still going. When I get in my "moment" I am focused on SCRAPBOOKING. It is literally the only hobby I have that takes me away. Even when I am working out - I am multi-tasking.

So - with that said - when I sit down I start going through papers, pictures, thought - and then get going. My latest trip to my FAV LSS - has sparked alot of creative ideas just because of all the cool papers and embellisments they got in. (tee hee) I pick paper and embellishments I either have pictures for at home, catch my eye and make me think "hmmmm this would make a great layout of mini album....." I have all these ideas swimming around in my head of what I am going to scrapbook - but until I sit down at my lil table - I have no creative juices flowing.

The other thing that gives me inspiration are things around me - for example - the trip to the American Girl Doll Place with all the color, girly girl things and the experience Ro and I had. The drabby not quite spring feeling in the air inspires me to do a reflective layout on myself. Spring cleaning tonight has inspired me to do a layout on my home. Going through some old photos of my girls has inspired me to work on my one page layouts for their Basic Grey Lunch Boxes because these photos are just so primitive compared to the pics I take now. (I swear I will never go back to a film camera.)

Now when I am out shopping - the things that inspire me are the latest trends in fashion, decor and seasaonal items. Target is a great place for me to get inspiration. I love their seasonal section and I love their trendy clothes section (I am more of a comfortable GAP, Old Navy gal myself.)

The other things that inspire me are blogs I visit. There are so many of you with creative layouts that I am geeked to sit down and scrapbook. Which is where I am heading after I post this entry!
