Getting caught up......
FINALLY I get to my mail!!!!!
Anyways - in the mail came a gift for me.......
I slept for a few hours today. A power nap if you will. I set the alarm for noon to get up and be productive. This was enabled by the UPS guy ringing the door alarm only seconds after I hit the snooze alarm. I stumbled out of bed to hear the UPS guys say -
"Hey Mrs. Mobley I am so sorry - I need you to sign for this package."
I mumbled into the speaker I would be down in a moment and groped around with half openned, sleep deprived eyes for my favorite lounging sweatshirt (you know the kind - the one you don't want to be caught dead in outside your house).
I stumble down the stairs to let him in - still eyes only part way open.
I hear my UPS guys say-
"I am so sorry - I know that you work nights and were sleeping. I need a signature for this package or I can't leave it."
I scribble something on his computer (which he is so used to) and as I turn to return upstairs I mumble "sorry for the hair and the jammies."
He laughs and says "I am used to it."
Then I add (not catching his meaning till I get up the stairs) -
"just don't look at my bum as I go upstairs" (God only knows what is on it since I was sleeping and Rowan was using me as a sticker board.)
Rowan is peaking around the stair corner giggling at me and waving at the UPS guy
I then - not very gracefully I might add - precede to miss the next step and not only fall but slide down four steps. I am sure the UPS guy thought I was going to take him out if I hadn't of caught myself...... egads is that covered by workers comp? for him?

Anyways - in the mail came a gift for me.......
from me..... for my birthday...... (shhhhhh it's a secret.... I don't let anyone know)
I can't wait to tear into it!!! Thanks Michelle for pointing this goodie out to me!!!
Then in the mail - Sometime during my stretch on at work - came this!!!!!

I am trying to get back to running because it's easier then going to the gym everyday. The gym is not very far from me (if you knew how close you would slap me.) It's just that some days it's easier to not work out than walk to the gym to work out. It's the walk to the gym that is discouraging.... Running I can do at any time of the day by just walking outside of my house. I found this on www Runner Mom link on Stacy Jullians' Site. Isn't it just adorable the way that it came packaged too - TISSUE PAPER!!!!! Pink Tissue paper and ribbon around the book AND white tissue paper wrapped around the water bottle! I am so geeked. This alone motivates me!!!!!!
Also in the mail - amongst the bills, snail mail spam and crap - was this wonderful package from BonnieRose!!!
I recieved a RAK!!!! in the MAIL!!! Thank you BonnieRose! I am sorry I just now openned it. I think it came Monday? When I am on my stretches - I barely function outside of what I have to do! It had all these cool colored pp and a mini - album to duplicate and fill! It was so sweet!!!
There were other cool things in the mail like letter from the girls Compassion International kids. There were pictures and drawings. The girls can't wait to write letters back and draw pictures. I am so proud of them that they take this seriously. Each Christmas and Birthday they give up part of their "loot" as they call it to give to their kids. Natalie's letter was specifically thanking her for the gifts and Natalie was shocked to see how far what she considered "little" went for her friend. Rowan was just glad she got a letter and her friend was happy with her gift!
Then I went by my FAVORITE LSS to see what was new - cause I heard they got alot of new things in... and got in trouble AGAIN! I got these!!!!!!
I know the color isn't the best in this picture - but they are the latest Prima Colors and they are so cool. I rarely venture into some of these colors. I picked up some Bazzil color packets (sweet pea has LIME green) SEI and Junkits papers that coordinate well with these (or the other way around). I am all geeked to imerse myself into some serious scrapbooking while I am off!!!!!!
Okay - gotta get back to power cleaning the house.... three large garbage bags have been purged from my bedroom, bathroom and some of the living room. I am so afraid to tackle my office and scrapbook room. It's a horrendous mess....... I must say - it felt good pitching and cleaning earlier. I was on a power burst. I think if I stopped I would have fell asleep. I did stop for LOST - and then curled up with my girls and that was the end. I am now awake and ready for round two! It's amazing what one can get accomplished when everyone else is SLEEPING!!!!!
