Nothing says tourist like............

Taking pictures of EVERYTHING. Always having that camera out. Snapping thru the window on the bus, snapping thru the window at the restaurant you are at. Asking the waiter to take your pictures together... Taking pictures of signs that you would NEVER see in America (like - "low head room", "Turn around, Go Back, Wrong Way",). A picture of the Mackies Menu (Mc Donalds) because it lacks the Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, and French Fries as well as the SUPERSIZE me logos......

Standing at a Gas Station taking a picture of the sign that says "Petrol 1.50 Litre" and "Gas (Natural) 0.45 litre."

Picture of the Cafe' girl who made your Flat Skinny White every morning before the conference and shared with you thought from the service the night before..... (She was unable to make the conference but attended the services in the evening)

Pictures of Mars and Snickers bars on sale even after the big pull off the market. (Some one apparently laced a box of snickers and mars bars with insecticide - so they had to pull off the market ALL snickers and Mars bars... Truly an act of terrorism. According to the papers.....)

Every day - standing, walking, riding - the camera sale - even after the big pull off the market due to terrorism. (in hand, snapping away.......

Pictures (I am almost embarassed to mention this...) of your dinners because they ALL came with Chips. Spaghetti and Chips... (Ok that was pushing it - but the pizza came with chips. And who has ever seen Pumpkin on pizza in Chicago - much less America?)

Pictures, upon Pictures, upon pictures, of the harbor at sunrise, mid afternoon, cloudy and overcast, Sun set, Dusk, night time, during fireworks......

Walking around LOST for the last week and half - maybe alludes to being a tourist... Sporting the "American" accent may allude to being a tourist... (well - not just maybe).... Asking every bus driver we encountered "does this bus go...." obviously alludes to it - but there were aussies (auckers) doing the same thing.

Standing at the train station EVERY morning and Night - looking at the train schedule trying to decipher what platform we needed to stand on... SCREAMS tourist.....

However - nothing - NOTHING screams tourist more than having that camera in hand! Snap snap away..... we went thru a disc already - and I popped the new one in yesterday. Snap snap away. Nice thing about digital - I can later delete those I don't want - but for now freely snapping away screams and points to us as TOURSIT and we are loving every minute of it!

Praise God for this Vacation! (and Grammie an Grampie back in the states watching the girls!!!!!

Miss you girls!!!!!!!! Big Hug and Kisses!!!!
