Funny Things I have noticed II

G'day from downunder again... it is bright, crisp and clear today. It was a bit cloudy when we embarked on our journey to the Olympic Park but by the time we were at the Train Station it was CLEAR! The weather here, the clear skies, the air - is just breathtaking! Praise God!

First of all - GIRLS - mom misses you terribly!!!! Hope you are having a BLAST with Grammie and Grampie!!! Don't tire them out you hear!!!

Secondly - I think I am going to go into Coffee detox when I hit the states again! I love the coffee here. I never thought I would find a better cup of coffee outside of Paris - but the coffee here is pretty darn awesome. I have passed by a few Starbucks and turned my nose up. Actually - the first morning we were here Norm went to a local Green Crack house a few blocks away and brought me back my "Carmel Latte". It was just - Flat. That was the only way to describe it.

Wierd little coloiqualisms (I know I spelled it wrong - that's what we call rushed d/t time paid on the internet - and trying to get to the conference on time). YES Shelia they do speak ENGLISH here - King's English I might add. I think their grammer is far superior to my fifth grade English Teacher's Grammer. But I digress... No Worries - No Problems. Mate - is how you greet a person "G'day Mate." Taking the fluff outta your stuff - is a krink in your style. There are so many more - but I don't have my journal on me - it'a holding a seat in the superdome for the Hillsong service that is about 7 minutes away. : )

Most cars run on NATURAL GAS - because PETROL is too expensive. hmmmmm what a concept - perhaps that is why there is CLEAN smog free air. Alot of people commute - they would be a dead town with no rail way, monorail, ferry or bus system. It's very refreshing.

We have a friend at the Gloria Jean and company Coffee Cafe' that we frequent (told you I was a junkie). She is from the States, moved here a 11 years ago with her parents who started a church down here. She is the Youth Pastor at her father's current church - and comes to the evening sessions of Hillsong Conference. I have a picture - just don't have the camera. I PROMISE photos tonite... after we get back.

We went grocery shopping for snacks for our hikes et al - we have a fridge in our room. I have some cool food for you guys (Nat and Ro) when I return....

Time is ticking away, Hillsong is about to start it's service.... Must go....

More updates from down under Later!

Kisses and hugs to the girls!!!!!
