Turkish Delight.....

This one goes to Pastor Jon and everyone in our Cell Group that Loves CS Lewis....

In Australia - they sell Turkish Delight EVERYWHERE. When we first came across it - we just stood there laughing. The sales lady behind the counter asked us if we would like to try it. Apparently it's this sweet jellie water candie covered in white powdered sugar. You can get it covered in chocolate - but that's not original.

The Turkish Delight derived it's name from - are you ready for this - the fact that it used to be covered in Heroin.

So - when we return to the US we will have "Turkish Delight" at our next Cell Group.... plus some other cool snacks we will bring back from here......
