Five places I would rather live than Chicago???? As sappy as it may seem I LOVE Chicago, I love the seasons (despite my recent posts and rants about the weather. BTW - Did I tell you that the first four hours of my shift at work were spent in Triage watching it snow for four straight hours...... AGGGGGGGGH) and I love winter. I love Chicago - and everything about it (the good and the bad). There is so much culture, art, ethnic mix and diversity for my girls to be raised in - I don't think I would move anywhere else....
However, if I could chose five other places to live the first would be Austraila. It's just and AWESOME place. It's so clear and crisp, laid back and chillin'. You can get a mix of seasons there AND - I love their sports!!!!!! I think it would be a neat place to raise our girls.... I would have to bath in sunscreen daily - three times a day - but I would do it.
The next place would be India. God has put India on my heart and someday I feel like I will be living there as a missionary of some sort. I also think this would be a great place for our girls.
The next place would be Rome. I think it would just be gosh darn neat to live there, experience the culture, take it all in and live a little. Just a few years there... maybe after the kids are in college and I need something to fill the void... (LOL)
New Zealand - it is beautiful there and would love to live there for a year or two as well - you know.... after my time in Italy - just scoot on over to New Zealand and be a KiWi for a year or two..... LOL!
And finally - ending up in Japan would be most divine. I would love to live there for several years, immerse myself in the culture, learn the language and maybe retire??? maybe.....
Disclaimer - this does not mean I do not LOVE America. I do love America and I am reminded every day how much I love America - but these are the places I would love to live.... there are other places to live in the world - and still maintain US citizenship!!!!!
That's my five spots..... I am heading to bed. Work was awful and I am still kicking myself for picking up those hours.... (LOL) Can't wait to read everyone elses posts later in the day!!!!

Great places!!! We have many Indian friends and have also been part of an Indian wedding...it was so much fun! One of my closest friends is from India and he plans on taking us back home next year to give us the full tour. I can't wait!!! Not to mention I LOVE the food! :)
