Knitting? O Spring where for art thou.....
Spring where for art thou?
I will say - when I walked out my door this AM at 0800 to go running (before I must depart for a flex shift at work) it did seem (dare I say it???) a lil warmer. It only took me a lil over 1/2 mile into my run to feel like I was alive and not in a morgue. My hands were still burning at one mile though.....
I took the plunge. I was out walking with the girls yesterday - we walked to Starbucks and then to Sister Art Studios. My daughters FAV place to hang out now!!! They have ADULT classes on learning to knit. Funniest thing - I thought you had a gene that enabled you to knit (and I am not too sure I am wrong given my embarassing attempts to learn with Nat's "Learning to Knit for Children." Nat and I have been sitting on the couch curled up knitting. Rowan even got started! We were a knitting circle this weekend. Here is the Scraf I got started.
I am going to start a knitting class on Thursday AM - at Sister Art Studios. I am so geeked. I might just learn how to knit. I am hoping...... Still thinking there is a gene somewhere that make some women knitters. I have never gotten this hobby - but I am so wanting to take it up now.......
Okay - off to work. Eeeeeek WHY o WHY did I flex this Sunday.... it was a clean sweep thru to Friday..... (big sob and feeling sorry for myself.........)
I'll post more later......
