Natalie's Project Runway

Today Nat went back to Sister Art Studios (this place is a bit too close for comfort... I see alot ALOT of $$$$$ going there. Between the LSS and Sister Art Studio I may need a second job.... LOL) to get this really cool kit called "Hollywood Costume Designer" from DaMert Company. This is the cutest kit. It has her literally doing a Project Runway layout. I had the hubby (since he has the D50 and is suppose to be the photographer half LOL) take these pictures and then I made a collage. I can not WAIT to scrap these pictures onto a layout!



I thought her first two layouts were AWESOME. She is so geeked about this.

God has blessed me with two DIFFERENT girls. Rowan is all athletics and things she can get her hands on and get dirty. Natalie is all about art, drawing, creating and design. It is so fun watching them grow up in different directions.....

Then I got quite the surprise this morning......

Apparently the hubby was being quite sneaky fanagaling a deal with the LSS owner to NOT let me know these were in stock. It was my birthday gift. (shhhhhhhhh - I DO NOT tell people about my B-day). I was shocked and filled with Joy at the same time!!!! I wanted this but wasn't sure I would buy it for myself. I am a person that is terribly hard to shop for but easy to please. I generally buy things I see and want myself. So - getting me something I want as a surprise is VERY hard.

Here are the two layouts I did tonight using my NEW XYRON DESIGN RUNNER!!!!! (sorry for the blurry pictures - the hubby is asleep and he has the D50 remember.....)

I love it... it's bit tricky sometimes to line up - but it is so easy to use....
I can't wait to see the other discs at the store.

This layout was of our Knitting Circle this weekend - and I know that I spelled Kniting in the title wrong. It was (truly it was) on purpose..... I don't know what I was thinking.....
AGAIN with the Prima flowers..... I don't know why I have never discovered these before......

I am currently under an attack of extreme insomnia... could be because the girls and I laid down to take a nap at 1800??? - and then the hubby brought me home a Dunkin Donut's coffee on his way back from Food and Friends???? And the fact that I am in my running grove again and I sleep less when I work out more???? But I will probably be up a while longer scrappin!!!
