My dream job.... If I delineated my dream job HERE I would probably get fired....

Seriously, my dream job would be a nurse in a ED, in a society where breastfeeding was supported and promoted and formula companies were not allowed to hand out cases of free formula to new moms and encouraging them to give that bottle so that they can sleep through the night (hence decreasing breast milk production). Fevers were JUST fevers, give some motrin and tylenol and go home. Antibiotics were not given unless FOR SURE the child had a bacterial infection. PO trial meant, as sad as it seems, you must sit up with your child and give small frequent feedings as opposed to 8 ozs all at once so that he pukes it all back up! Parents actually listened to you when you gave them advice, teaching or guidance as opposed to rolling their eyes and glaring at you.

That would be my ideal job short of marrying a very rich trillionare that would keep me a kept woman, eatting bon bons and scrapbooking all day with and endless supply of stuff on hand at all times and free time to do short term mission trips every two months or so. But then I would get bored and would have to go back to work in and ED somewhere, sometime. I like being a nurse. Call me a freak - that's what I am.

Now - in reality - knowning that the above could never come true.... is I would love to be able to do short term mission trips ever two months for about two weeks at a time. I would like to do this sans concern for finances. This would mean that what ever my job was - it was financially lucrative and free for time off. (definitely NOT a nurse.)

Okay - back to work. Lunch break over......

I hope to get some scrapbooking stuff done sometime today after getting home and snoozing......
