Let's blog about some fun stuff. Is there certain animals you would never allow your child (if you don't have any, just imagine if you do) to have as pets.

An animal I would never let my child (children) have......

• An iguana - They are just icky. The thought of having one in my house.... ick!
• A Gerbal - they stink..... I don't care how clean you keep the cage - they stink. And if the thing ever got out and scared me.... it would be squashed. That is not a conversation I want to ever have with my kids.
• Snakes - see Iguana
• SPIDERS - which I don't have to worry about - a poor house spider appears in our humble abode and they girls FLIP. You would think an intruder was coming thru their window. Even funnier - they think ALL spiders are brown recluse. What I don't clarify now won't hurt them later when they find out......
• Horses - too much work esp since I live in the city. We would have to pay for boarding and then travel out there as well as upkeep. Plus - horses should be riden frequently. Time - egads something I do not have.

That's all I can think of right now......

HEY studies show that mom's that work outside the home are healthier and have longer life expectancies. Okay - these studies came out of England - but it makes me feel a little better I am not a stay at home mom. I, many times, feel like a failure that I am not a stay at home mom. I take what I can get. All of you stay at home mom's - I (truly) salute you!!!!!!!!

Christina - don't worry - I never was really "MAD" that you wouldn't sell me the much coveted "lime green roller tote" from MM! I just thought it was odd..... very odd...... Especially since you are such an enabler and share in my addiction to scrapbooking. Perplexed yes. Shocked yes. Surprised in the end and happy - yes!!!!!!!
